Munich Composites offers full OEM and ODM services. If you have a new rim design and want to put it into production, we can help with design as well as create new molds and produce your rim for you. Carbon Fiber Braid

  • Fiber storage without fiber layer overlap and with little waste
  • 100% reproducibility through automation
  • Robotic braiding process
  • Fiber storage close to the final contour (unlike prepreg, fibers are not cut through or lie exactly on the contour)

High pressure braid core

  • Patented reusable braided core
  • Braid core gives higher compaction rate for stronger and more uniform wall thickness
  • Braid core is melted out leaving no material remaining inside rim (unlike a bladder)
  • Result is no wrinkles or excess material inside the finished rim
